About
Jane Edwards
During a short-term mission trip with BMS in Peru, Jane felt God’s call on her life to longer-term justice mission. Before joining BMS, she was a solicitor in Bournemouth. Since 2017, she has been using her legal skills to help some of the most marginalised people in Mozambique gain access to justice.
Jane works in partnership with the Association of Mozambican Christian Lawyers (AMAC). Through its legal aid ministry, AMAC helps hundreds of clients a year, advising on employment, criminal and family law. It also runs various projects, such as its women's land rights project.
Jane leads and preaches in her church and leads the monthly AMAC Bible studies for Christian lawyers and law students.
