Valerie Kisaber
Valerie grew up in Kenya and moved to Uganda as a teenager. She moved to Gulu to serve the Lord there in 2009 and has been there ever since. Valerie is married to Louis and has one son Gabriel Waloyo, which means He has saved us, born in 2023.
Valerie is very passionate about children's wellbeing and she teaches in the Sunday school teaching. Valerie focuses on improving basic education and opportunities for lifelong learning of children in JLH supported communities in northern Uganda by ensuring children have access to school locally.
She also helps to strengthen community-based child protection mechanisms by training caregivers and communities to protect children.
In addition Valerie also offers psychosocial support to victims of abuse and helps to reintegrate them back to their communities without feeling afraid and alone.
