Dear friends, partners and supporters,
As the calendar year draws to a close, my heart—and the hearts of our entire project team—are overwhelmed with profound gratitude. This letter is not merely an update; it is a testament to the faithfulness of our Creator and a thanksgiving report for how far He has brought our agricultural and tree-growing initiative since the seeds were first planted in January.
The Sowing
"The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy." – Psalm 126:3 (NIV)
When we started this journey in January, we broke ground with more hope than certainty. The vision was clear: to cultivate the land not just for physical sustenance, but as an act of stewardship and an investment in future generations through tree planting. The challenges seemed vast: unpredictable weather patterns, sourcing quality initial materials, and the sheer physical labour required to turn a vision into a tangible reality.
We recall the early days of soil preparation and the meticulous planning for both short-term crops and long-term forestry. In those moments of uncertainty, we learned the true meaning of reliance on divine provision. We thank God for every volunteer, every team member, and every guiding hand that joined us.
The roots that are growing
The agricultural success provided immediate fruit, but our hearts remain focused on the future, the promise of shade, oxygen, and resources that our tree-growing initiative represents.
"He will be like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and whose leaf does not wither. In all he does, he prospers." – Psalm 1:3 (NIV)
Our tree nursery and subsequent plantings represent a profound act of faith—planting something that may take years, perhaps even decades, to reach its full potential. This initiative is our prayer for ecological restoration and a legacy for the next generation.

As Christmas approaches and we celebrate the birth of our Savior, whose life brought hope to a weary world, our hearts turn with profound gratitude toward you, our cherished supporting churches and partners.
Your unwavering commitment, faithful prayers, and generous financial resources have been the lifeblood of our agricultural and tree-planting project this year. Because of your partnership, we are celebrating a truly bountiful harvest—not just of crops and new saplings taking root, but of renewed hope and sustainable living for the farming families we serve.
Your gifts have ensured families have food on their tables, farmers have the resources to work their land effectively, and our shared environmental legacy is secured through every tree planted. You are the hands and feet of Christ, extending practical love and support to those who need it most.
May the peace and joy of the Christmas season fill your congregations, and may you know deeply the impact your love has made in the lives of many. We look forward to continuing this vital work together in the New Year.
As we head into the new year, we carry the lessons of 2024 with us: that God is faithful in the small beginnings and mighty in the final harvest.
We need your continued prayers as we plan for the next planting season. May you and your families experience the peace and joy of this Advent season. Merry Christmas and God Bless You Abundantly!
In His Grace,
Genesis
