We have shown people the hope and joy that is found only in Jesus and bring many people to faith in Christ. We have seen God transformed lives and put peace and joy into troubled lives !
After our various outreaches, many new groups of disciples have started. Lots of people have shown great interest to know and learn about Christ so they invited our DMM leaders to their homes to start new fellowships. In different districts of North 24 Parganas, West Bengal we used various approaches such as the 3 3rd method of disciple making, by showing of the Jesus Film and medical camps which resulted in many people receiving Jesus and wanting to learn more about Christ.
It has been great to have Abigail home again for her Summer break. As a family we took a holiday trip to Australia and had an amazing experience. We got to visit Melbourne and Sydney and other memorable sites. We enjoyed the food very much as well as the weather because we left home with our temperature being almost 43 deg. C. (extremely hot weather). We also visited Thailand with some of our friends and had the most amazing time there as well.
We also got the opportunity to visit few a churches and shared the vision of the Disciple making movement and how it can help their churches to multiply. Overall our experience to Australia has been a memorable one !
This is Ujala from a hindu background. From a young age he used to worship the idols but unfortunately he got affected with the leprosy disease. Due to the fear on stigma of leprosy, he was cast out by his own family and began to live in a leprosy colony. He made his livelihood by begging on the streets and temples. He came to hear the Gospel from our leader Bro. Santu and after hearing the stories of how Jesus healed the lepers, he was greatly touched and asked if the same could happen to him. He received Jesus and was excited to share the story of Jesus with others. He made great attempts to return to his family members and expressed his joy of knowing Jesus.
Through the transformation story of Ujala, leaders were able to reach out to the lepers through distribution of food and basic essentials. Furthermore, because of the love demonstrated by our leaders new fellowships started.
We have learned that the simplest thing making disciples the Jesus way is found in Luke Chapter 10, which is finding the Person of Peace. This principle has helped us to start new groups, train and equip believers who have an amazing journey of becoming disciples, to become lay leaders and then can start sharing and impacting their community and discipling their own people to fulfil the Great Commission.
Please pray for us as we seek to do the following
To train 100,000 leaders by the year end.
To double the number of fellowships
To withstand persecution with faith and courage and to continue sharing the love of God and the good news message.
To reach 500,000 people with the gospel by the end of 2024
To connect and catalyze movements among unreached peoples groups in Asia.
We really appreciate the long standing partnership we have shared with BMS and it has been an amazing journey of partnership. The way to move forward is to continue to keep our eyes on the harvest which is great and further mobilize and multiply the Disciple Making Movement in hundreds and thousands of places which are yet to be reached. Thank you for your prayers, love and gifts which encourages us to continue sharing the gospel and making disciples.
