This harvest, BMS World Mission will be giving your church all the resources you need to make a powerful impact in the lives of refugees. From stocking a food bank to providing vital hygiene products and support to process paperwork, your giving and prayers could bring urgent practical support to those who have lost everything. Your harvest giving

How will your gifts make a difference?

For every £30 your church raises, you could provide two refugees with access to a food bank for a year.
If you’re aiming high, raising £816 could provide vital hygiene products for refugees all year long.

Gifts to the Refugees Welcome appeal will be used to fund work at the BMS-supported welcome centre in Cyprus, as well as other similar work supporting refugees. If our appeal target is exceeded, we will use additional funds to support urgent BMS work in other parts of the world.

August

Now’s a great time to get a date for your harvest service in the diary! We’ll be releasing British Sign Language and Welsh translations of the appeal film too.

September

Start the buzz about your harvest service and remind your minister to set aside a slot to introduce the appeal to your church family. Celebrate the amazing impact your church will have in the lives of people fleeing violence and conflict.
