The aim of this role is to improve the quality of care at Guinebor II Hospital. The candidate will work alongside the current director of the hospital, who is a Cameroonian nurse-surgeon, to reinforce his surgical, hospital management and leadership skills.
Key tasks, themes and projects
To provide training in updated surgical skills in general surgery and orthopedics
To act as a coach in improving the skills of the director in hospital management
To act as a mentor in improving leadership skills of the director
The candidate will be part of the hospital management team
Other duties
Participate in the development of organisational culture of GII through involvement in staff activities, organisational events, and training.
Guinebor II Hospital is considered to be one of the best hospitals in N’djamena and attracts patients from a wide area. It is a registered NGO in Chad and a Non Profit Organisation (NPO). Its key medical statistics per year are 14,000 outpatients, 2,000 inpatients, 1,300 operations, and 1,800 births.
