About
Benon Kayanja
Benon was praying with his wife for a new job in a Christian organisation. After a timely chat with a former BMS staff member, Benon joined BMS World Mission in 2013, becoming the first International Mission Worker in Uganda, his home country.
Benon is currently based in the BMS office in Kampala and oversees different areas of work for BMS, from governance to general operations. He also works in partnership with the Kasese Baptist Association of Churches Development Committee, which supports local communities through development projects.
Benon is married to Dorothy Babirye Kayanja. They have two boys, Favour and Bright. Benon loves to travel, watch movies and play volleyball.
Benon Kayanja will be on in the UK from 8 September until 22 September2024.
