Volunteer BMS Speaker

Becoming a BMS Speaker is a wonderful way to contribute to the amazing work our mission workers and partners are doing globally by sharing their stories locally, enthusing others to learn more and join in.

BMS Speakers are volunteers based across the UK and choose their speaking engagements based on their availability, on average giving four talks a year, depending on personal preference and speaker requests.

Full training is provided, with an online induction to introduce the materials, explain practical details and practice speaking. Further training during the year allows the whole team to gather, meet each other, and hear from our UK staff and current mission workers.

Having visited BMS World Mission projects in India and Thailand in recent years, I was inspired to volunteer to speak at local Baptist churches. I love being able to talk from personal experience and share what God is doing through our mission partners.
