Estelle's story
Estelle is one of thousands of people who have been displaced within Cameroon in the past few years due to violence between militia, rebels and armed separatist groups. Violent threats pushed Estelle to take a perilous journey through the bush to reach safety – safety she's eventually found in Cyprus. Boran's story
Boran’s sister and brother-in-law were killed in the Israel-Gaza war, in an explosion that hit a six-storey building they’d been sheltering in during an air strike. With her daughters scattered across the Middle East by the conflict, Boran has lost everything.
