Introductions
Hello everyone, I am Rev. Barnabas Hemrom. Mission Coordinator. Working for God mission in Bangladesh. I'm grateful to our almighty Lord that last year God has blessed me in many ways. He saved me and used me for his glory. I am very happy that, we have celebrated Christmas outreach Program successfully. I saw and felt the Holy Spirit's guidance and God’s work because in this present country situation we did the outreach Christmas program in 11 new villages with unreached people.
Our vision and mission is to proclaim the Gospel among unreached people. We prayed and took the action to do the Christmas outreach program 2024. We did the Christmas program with Muslim, Hindu and different ethnic unreached people groups. And it was a meaningful, applicable and fruitful program. We faced some hindrance and problem, but we overcame that. In the Christmas program we had been telling them Christmas is not only for Christians but for all (John 3:16, Luke 2:10-11). When we are sharing the gospel they are hearing with full concentration. They wanted to know about Jesus and I answered them. We taught them Christmas songs and we sang together. It was a great joy. We cut the Christmas cake and have fellowship lunch with them. For the children we provide some toys, small gift and candies and in some places we distributed the Bible. I saw that, people welcomed us and we are well received. When they allowed us to do the Christmas program and welcomed us it is a symbol that they open their heart for the Christ. Praise the Lord. I am excited to bring the good news among the unreached people. Really, I enjoy the mission work. Because I am doing God’s mission work. In some places people are inviting us to hear the good news more. Some places are opening up to the gospel gradually. I believe Christmas outreach program is effective program for sharing the gospel. All the people are knowing that, this is one Christian festival. So, they are open to celebrate the Christmas program. Where we did the program we invite local government, and they joined with us and they help us very well also, they heard the gospel. Because we celebrate all together and they also gave Christmas greetings to the people. God gave us protection through Government. We prayed together for peace in the country and in the world. We tell them Jesus is prince of peace. They like very much praying for peace and praying for government. I visited, joined, sharing the gospel and visiting, I personally believe, God has opened the door and this is the right time to be sharing the gospel.
I have just started my theological D.Min studies online in Nepal. My daughter has just completed 3rd year final exam in honors (12 level). 4th year is her last year. Then she will try to study master level abroad. She is leading now Dhaka Baptist Church Sunday school and youth team.
o Give thanks that God has answered the prayer that, we did outreach Christmas program fruitfully.
o Give thanks that God gave me the opportunity for higher study in theology. Study cost is very high, please pray for that God would give me wisdom to pay for the cost.
o Please pray for the new areas that people can receive Christ as their personal saviour.
o Please pray for the evangelists who are working in various mission fields.
