Introductions
Hello everyone,
I am glad to send you this prayer letter. It is a blessing to have you sharing in our ministry in Bangladesh and praying for the ministry and my family. You will be glad to know that mission work is going on very well. Our God is guiding us to proclaim the gospel. The situation in Bangladesh recently has been very difficult but God has protected us and He keeps opening the door for us to share the Gospel. I would like to share how God is working in the different areas in Bangladesh.
We are committed to proclaiming the gospel in the Northwest part of Bangladesh. These places are very sensitive as it is very close to the Indian border. We have been praying for a long time to send an evangelist there. We have this assurance from God. He told us I loved the people. My salvation is for them too.
God has opened new doors for us in two places with 195 families and a total population of 630 people. Pray that they would experience the God of our salvation and the abundant life He freely gives.
The area has many economic challenges. I visited that area several times and God has shown me His glory. He gave me the instructions. God told me, I want to be glorified through this people. The Lord made it possible through the support of BMS to send two evangelists there. They have being welcomed and have started sharing the gospel. We see that God is working among them. God has opened their heart. They received us, they received God's message and they are keen to hear the gospel. Not only adult but all together they are willing to listen to the gospel. This is an answer to our prayers. The evangelists Swapon and Punima are doing well. Initially we met resistance from Nahid Islam and his team who tried to prevent us from sharing the gospel. We pray and God has control over the situation. He has turned it around. Nahid Islam and his team are now protecting us and encouraging us to share the gospel. Swapon and Purnima have started a children's ministry and a house church. They are free to use the Bible. They are visiting their houses regularly. I visit the evangelist regularly, sharing the gospel with them, encouraging them, giving guidance and praying for them regularly. God has given Swapon and Purnima favour they are welcomed almost all house of villages. They are caring for them, giving advice and nurturing them. Really they are doing great job and seeking to bring holistic transformation to the communities. They are dedicated to God.
By God's beautiful grace we are preparing to celebrate Christmas there in December 2024 for the very first time. We will tell the nativity story and dramatise the good news.
I am grateful to be God's servant. He is using me for His mission. He is leading me to sharing the gospel different new places in Bangladesh. He is protecting and guiding me. Wherever I go, God is opening doors for me to share the gospel and giving the opportunity to travel almost all over Bangladesh. God goes ahead and helping me through every hinderance I face. God is faithful, He knows my need. I feel God’s mercy. I am enjoying the mission work to fulfil God’s mission. I am thankful that he has opened the door for my online higher studies to prepare me for His glory.
- Please pray for the new areas where we have sent evangelists, that they may receive Christ as their personal saviour.
- Please continue to pray for Shadon and Punima that they may demonstrate the Kingdom of God.
- Please pray for upcoming outreach Christmas programs in the December.
- Please pray for me and family that we may proclaim His glory every day.
