About
Ingrid and Roger Hamlet
Ingrid and Roger Hamlet joined BMS World Mission in January 2024, as allied health professionals working in prosthetics and orthotics. On completion of their missions and language training, they moved to Guinebor II Hospital in N’Djamena, Chad, to set up a Prosthetics and Orthotics Department.
They met at university, where they both studied prosthetics and orthotics. They felt God’s call to mission work before they married. As a teenager, Roger wanted to use his education to serve in mission work and Ingrid chose her degree so she could be useful in a developing world context.
Roger enjoys rock climbing and river kayaking. Ingrid loves drawing and painting. In recent years, they have spent a lot of time playing lego with their two children, Mark and Joel!
Ingrid and Roger Hamlet will be on home assignment in the UK and available to request for mission worker visits from 4 July until 19 August 2026.
