When I informed BMS of Mum's sad passing and her wish for donations in her memory to go to BMS World Mission this is the response I received: "We are so thankful for Ruth’s years of faithful partnership with BMS. Her faithful gifts, and prayers have helped some of the world’s most marginalised and vulnerable people. Because of her compassion; children in Nepal have had access to life-changing education, mothers in Chad have been able to safely deliver their babies, men and women in India and Bangladesh have heard the good news of Jesus for the first time, and people across the globe have received help, health and hope.Ruth’s life blessed so many people around the world, whom she never met but whose lives she changed for the better. We are delighted that she has so generously requested donation from her funeral to go to BMS.
