Sevin's story

A hope that contradicts circumstances

Sevin grew up amid the Syrian civil war, angry with a god she couldn’t find in the hostile world around her. With the war still raging, Sevin married and her husband became a Christian. After her prayers to have him home from the front line were miraculously answered, she accepted Christ as her own Lord!

‟That is when I felt like I had come back to life, despite the war and the difficulties my husband and I were experiencing,“ Sevin recalls.

When an attack destroyed their home, Sevin and her husband sought refuge in Lebanon. There they discovered the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary (ABTS), a place that equips people to minister in times of conflict, persecution, displacement and trauma. Sevin was able to study, heal and discover her calling. She is now devoting her life to training and discipling others – raising up leaders who can reach the lonely, traumatised and displaced across the Arab world.

£35 could help equip a student at ABTS with this vital ministry training

Right now, there are so many waiting for someone to speak Jesus into their circumstances.

Waiting for his hope.

Waiting for his healing.

Waiting for someone to come alongside them and share his love.

Will you help ABTS train more people to deliver God's hope to the Middle East and beyond?
