Christmas - Heart of the Gospel

We are excited to share updates on how God is moving in our community and beyond from impactful outreach events to heartfelt stories of transformation, we're blessed to see His love at work. Despite the challenges, the Lord has opened new villages to hear the gospel as a result of which the response has been amazing. God is at work transforming lives through our outreaches and discipleship trainings.

We thank God for BMS who has stood with us prayerfully and empowering us to surge forward to see the extension of God's Kingdom.

Christmas outreaches are a meaningful way for churches and communities to spread joy, love, and the message of Jesus Christ.

Though Christmas feels heavy and heartbreaking in some states of India - Christmas outreaches were done in some persecuted areas where faith is dangerous and hope is fragile. Celebrations were quiet and personal, fear constant, and every act of Christ's love carries high risk to get persecuted. Our hearts are devastated by what these families endure—but this is exactly where the light of Christmas matters most. We praise the Lord for the many thousands that responded to the Christmas outreaches all across our nation with people getting to know who is the reason for the season. Hundreds and hundreds of people have accepted Christ during this season and are now being followed up by our leaders to teach them more about the love of Christ.

As a family we are so thankful to the Lord that we reached a milestone of 25 years being married. We celebrated this special occasion with family and friends to declare the Goodness of God in our lives. It was truly a special moment and our daughter Abigail hosted the entire event.

Abigail has returned to college and this will be her final semester. She graduates in May and we are praying for direction from the Lord as to where she can continue her Master's degree.

Benjamin continues to train and disciple leaders across the globe in the DMM. Gillian also continues training and equipping the women to become disciple makers.

Praise God for our team of leaders who are now working in 5 leprosy colonies, where they have the opportunity to share the love of Jesus with them. Such is their state as they have absolutely no one to care or even provide any kind of support to them.

Bro. Thomas and his team of leaders have worked effortlessly to help and work with these families to give them a hope for a brighter tomorrow. They regularly visit these colonies to conduct feeding programs, and help with teaching the children who are also neglected and not allowed into any kind of schools.

This winter, the cold has been cruel to the lepers who have nothing to cover themselves to keep their body warm.
Thankful, we have been able to distribute blankets and sweaters to these families. By God's grace we eased their pain and reminded them that, you are seen, you are loved, you are not alone.

We also distributed Bibles to people affected by leprosy—a small act filled with deep meaning. In every hand that received God's Word, we saw hope. In every smile, we were reminded that no one is forgotten. Jesus' love reaches where pain exists, restoring dignity, comfort, and faith. We are so thankful that they have been able to reach out to these people with warmth, comfort and care.

Sister Madhumita's mother became a believer two years ago. She would attend the fellowship meetings. But since then Madhumita would not talk to her mother. In fact she would taunt her mother in various ways but still her mother would graciously try to share the gospel with her. Unfortunately, Madhumita eloped with the person she loved without informing her family. Search was done for her but she was not found and after 6 months her family found out that she was living with the man she loved. During these 6 months Madhumita fell seriously ill being attacked by demonic spirits. Though alot of treatment was tried for her she could not be healed. She apologized to her mother for the way she treated her and once again her mother shared about the love of Christ and prayed with her. Her mother encouraged her to trust the Lord for her deliverance and as she began to believe and continued praying soon she recovered in the name of Jesus Christ. At present she shares her testimony with others and also shares the good news of Lord Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord!

For prayer

for boldness to share faith naturally.

for more laborers to be sent to the harvest fields.

for protection and courage for believers facing persecution, harassment, or violence. May they stand firm in their faith and be a witness to their communities.

for spiritual fruit and multiplication.

for unity among believers in disciple making efforts.

for the DMM in South Asia that God will empower and guide those making disciples. We ask for deep transformation in lives through obedience to the word.

We are very thankful to the BMS for your continued support and prayers which has been vital in seeing our people go forward despite all the challenges. We rejoice with you in what God is doing and we celebrate your partnership with us.
