APRIL 2025

TITLE : WE SERVE A RISEN SAVIOR !

We give all glory to God as a ministry, Biglife has been able to face the many challenges and rise up against all odds and go into the most remote parts of our nation to share the message of hope to the hopeless. Our outreaches have been strategic in the spread of the Gospel across different villages, as a result we have seen such a phenomenal response and people coming to know Jesus and opening their homes to start new groups.

We thank God for BMS who has stood with us prayerfully and empowering us to surge forward to see the extension of God's Kingdom.

We are so thankful for the way the Lord has opened many new avenues to share the Gospel during our Easter and Good Friday programmes which has helped mobilize our ministry and to see people being touched by the power of the Lord which has transformed their lives, and their testimonies are bringing other people to the Saviour! The use of the Jesus Film ministry to reach different villages and transforming lives both physically and spiritually has been the most effective way to reach people. As a result of this, hundreds of people have also received baptism.

Inspite of the very challenging times being faced by us, we have seen God move amazingly and progress the work of the Kingdom.

We look forward to our daughter Abigail returning home for the Summers and investing her time in the youth ministry.

Gill continues to equip the women with a series of teachings that would help them to become effective disciple makers.

Benjamin recently visited Vietnam to train 200 leaders in the DM Movement. We have been working in this country for almost 10 years with over 400 fellowships. This is by far the biggest training which we have done in a communist country. It is impossible to get people to assemble for trainings, as the authorities can have you arrested but we are so thankful that the leaders got the vision and the Lord protected us.. We are looking forward to doubling the work in Vietnam and raise a new generation of leaders.

We would like to share the latest update on our outreach efforts in the Kukudakhandi & Shanti Nagar Leprosy Colonies in Odisha. Our team recently visited the colonies and met with 39 families consisting of 140 individuals in the Kukudakhandi, and 120 individuals in the Shanti Nagar colonies.

In these remote areas individuals from non-Christian backgrounds live in spiritual darkness, worshiping various idols. Their lives are marked by physical suffering, emotional pain, and social isolation. Biglife leaders embarked on a mission to bring hope and light to this forgotten community. With love and compassion, they shared the Gospel. In response, fellowships have now been initiated and lives being transformed by the power of the gospel. Despite facing discrimination, our team bravely mingled with the colonies' residents, sharing the Good News from house to house. Twice a week, they visit and teach God's Word by providing emotional support.

Transformation of a Life : Shanda Pradhan was from Daringbadi in Kandhamall, Orissa. His life was marked by darkness and despair. His addiction to alcohol had consumed him, leading to the loss of his family's resources and respect. His loved ones had given up on him, and he was left to face the depths of poverty alone. But one day, everything changed. Pastor Piter's Jesus film screening in the village caught his attention, and the powerful story of the prodigal son resonated deeply with him. He saw himself in the son's shoes, lost and broken, but ultimately forgiven and loved. This moment marked a turning point in Shanda's life. He surrendered his life to Jesus, accepting Him as his personal Savior and Lord. With a newfound sense of purpose, Shanda transformed from a broken drunkard to a devoted believer. His life is now filled with hope, joy, and a sense of belonging, inspiring others in the community with his remarkable testimony. Thank God for saving Shanda from the depths of addiction and poverty.

We have a vision to double the number of fellowships by the end of this year.

Pray for the prevalent persecution in different states of India, especially in Uttar Pradesh and Chattisgarh.

Pray for our leaders to have courageous and bold faith in the face of rising persecution.

Pray God's protection for our house churches and believers who may be facing persecution.

Pray that the recent terrorist attacks in Kashmir will not be repeated and for the families suffering becuase of their loved who have been killed.

Pray for open doors for the Gospel to reach India's unreached people.

We are very thankful to BMS for your continued support and prayers which has been vital in seeing our people go forward despite all the challenges. We rejoice with you in what God is doing and we celebrate your partnership with us.
