Our hearts are full of gratitude to the Lord for all He has done for us through your support for our family and Guinebor 2 Hospital.
The year 2025 started well with a good financial result on the hospital finances and a good Board of Trustees meeting. This meeting, talks and other activities around the hospital work was a moment of joy together with the direct participation of G2's Hospital partners. Those partners who could not attend meetings in person did it online and this is proof that we have developed a committed community centered on God's mission and purpose for the people of Chad.
Regarding the hospital work, many patients who came in search for the hospital health services also received Jesus Christ as their seviour and Lord. As the Bible verse in Genesis 28:14 says "Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth; you will spread to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south; and in you and in your descendants all the families of the earth will be blessed."
During the Board of Trustees meeting a new Board of Trustees was proposed and selected under the care of Dr Stephen Green as the Board's Chair.
Also, Dr Claudia from Germany, continued staff's professional training on maternal health. Especially attention was given to several couples who wanted to have children and for the grace of God and the care offered by Dr Claudia, these couples have managed to conceive.
Financially, the hospital is on a good path and it is our prayer, hope and goal that the hospital will achieve financial autonomy. A balanced budget was presented to the Board of Trustees and the hospital's pharmacy is already demonstrating financial autonomy and good results. This is a sort of celebration for the hospital's Senior Management Team.
I would like also to share with you that in February, we also received the visit for nearly three weeks of Val Stevens. She is a finance and accounting consultant professional appointed by BMS on our request to help us to review our financial systems, policies and procedures as well as offering financial training to those working in both the finance and accounting departments. She encouraged us to remain in compliance with international policies and principles in order to avoid losing our balance. We thanks BMS for supporting us with the professional backing of Val.
As there is no shortage of challenges in life, we continue facing political crisis at the country and local level. This has taught me that is important to constantly listen to those around us with the purpose to learn about their expectations and to find ways to live in harmony and peace.
I thank the Lord for the moral, spiritual and financial support of all churches and individuals through BMS
I thank the Lord for all our friends, brothers and sisters who pray for us and support us
I thank the Lord for making us participants of His salvation and work in His kingdom
I thank the Lord for all my missionary colleagues and employees at G2 hospital for the team's spirit and goodwill of each of them to contribute to the hospital's success
I thank the Lord for the new program for HR and salary management
Please pray that the Lord continues granting us courage, wisdom and discernment to do what is best
Pray that God grants us the means to install the commercial module and stock management in the pharmacy
Pray that the hospital land and where an school has been built is allocated back to the hospital
Pray for the safety of the both local and international staff at G2
Let us pray that the population surrounding the hospital be at peace with us and that God helps us make decisions that will maintain good relationships
Please pray that God strengthens the commitment of my son Solomon to follows Jesus
Please pray for my children for them to succeed in their 2025 baccalaureate exams
It is a great privilege to serve the Lord in Chad with your support, despite the many challenges. May our God bless you as individuals and as churches.
With love, your servant
