GOD IS IN CONTROL !
We are so thankful for open doors to share the Gospel in some of the most difficult regions but God is in control and we praise Him for the hundreds of people who have been reached with the message of the Gospel through our Jesus Film outreach and bible distribution as result of which we have received a great response with new groups starting and people trained to become disciple makers.
Though there has been great persecution in several states, however we have seen God move in a mighty way and transform the lives of many hundreds of people.
Our team of leaders from North Bengal have had the opportunity to reach the Indo-Nepal border with the Gospel which has resulted in a great response and many families receiving Jesus.
The Jesus Film project has helped in a tremendous way to reach new areas with the Gospel and new groups started where people are being trained and discipled. The response has been very fruitful and many people have shown a great interest to know more about Christ and eager to open their homes for fellowship.
We want to praise God for opening doors in Hong Kong and two new countries in Taiwan and Macau where Benjamin had recently visited to cast the vision of the Disciple Making Movement. This was an amazing platform to talk about what God is doing in Asia that has brought about this movement. The response was overwhelming and we are still doing a follow up of all the people who want to know more.
Gillian still continues to invest in the lives of the women and training and raising up women leaders in the Disciple Making Movement. There are ongoing trainings done every month in discipling women and encouraging them to make disciples.
Inspite of the prevailing persecution and attacks taking place in many states of India, the Lord has helped us to prevail! Christians are being beaten for their faith but this does not stop the work of the Lord. These last two months have been difficult in terms of our ministry but the Lord is faithful and helped us to be strong and courageous!
Day by day we are able to reach village after village with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and reaching souls through the film ministry. This has resulted in thousands of people being healed, both physically and spiritually, as they surrender their lives to Christ and some have being baptised!
This is Kakoli Mondal from Durgabati village of South 24 Parganas. She is a believer and attends the fellowship but her husband keeps persecuting her for her faith and threatens to kick her out of the home if she continues to believe in Christ. She left home to live with her mother because she did not want to forsake her faith in Christ. However, after sometime she returned to her home but her husband did not change towards her. Recently he got very sick and was having severe breathing problems. When his condition got really serious he then asked Kakoli if Jesus could heal him and asked to pray for him. After much prayer he found relief and was able to breathe normally after which he responded in faith. Praise God he has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and they both attend the fellowship. All glory to God!
Please pray for the following
That we would be able to 5000 new leaders by the end of this year.
To double the number of fellowships (which are disciple making environments).
To withstand persecution with faith and courage and yet committed to move forward.
To reach another 500,000 souls by the end of this year.
To connect and catalyze movements among unreached peoples groups.
