Introductions

Bangladesh is lovely country where we are living. The people are very much hospitable, supportive and simple. The people are very much interested in hearing the Gospel. I personally believe that, God has opened the Bangladesh door for the Gospel. There are lots of opportunity for sharing the Gospel and also work for their holistic development. I am working and supervising work in different parts of Bangladesh in sharing the Gospel and encouraging the evangelists because they are working in the selected areas in different part of Bangladesh. Panchbibi area is one of them. 

This area is in northern part of Bangladesh. I would like to share about that area. In this area we have a mix culture peoples are living (Muslim, Hindu, tribal groups). Their cultures are different but they are living together in the same area. This is a very good symbol for unity.

This is a rural area. Here the people are living simple.  In that area we are sharing the Gospel among the unreached people. Through preaching the Gospel people are coming to the faith. The Holy Spirit is changing their life style. Some people are getting ready to receive Christ and changing their mind and behaviour. Holy Spirit is guiding them to Christ. We are taking care of them with compassion by meeting some of their spiritual, social and economy developmental needs. Jesus loves them and this is the harvest time to reach them in Christ.

One evangelist is living there and working among them. His name is Rev. Nitay. He is living there with his family. His wife’s name is Putul. They are taking care of the people and sharing the Gospel. Already in one village Sunday service has started. Some families are starting family prayer. Youth and children are learning the Bible for the first time in the history of this community. They are also learning and experiencing the love of  Christ. I believe God is working among them. Because they are listening to the Gospel eagerly. My passion is to lead them to Christ.

I am married to Juthika. We are blessed with two children. Our son is Aristarch . He is 26 and has just completed Bachelor of Business studies. Our daugther is Arista, she is in her 3rd year at university. Together we live in Dhaka.

My role is Mission Coordinator with Bangladesh Baptist Church Sangha (BBCS). As a mission coordinator I supervise all the evangelism work in new fields and provides mission related training to our evangelists, church planters and various ministers.

• Pray for new mission field Panchbibi and for Rev Nitay and his family.
• Pray for children and youth in Panchbibi area and for the new believers in Christ.
• Please pray for my family, especially my children’s studies.
