Noor’s story

No mother should have to endure what Noor has experienced. She went into labour as bombs fell around her. While she was receiving care in hospital, her husband, who relied on dialysis treatment, died. Suddenly bereaved and caring for four children alone, Noor returned home to almost nothing. Just three days later, the house next door was bombed.

"We lived for five days without food or water, not even milk for my baby."
Noor, mother of four, Gaza

Across Gaza, countless families like Noor’s are facing hunger, homelessness and a desperate lack of medical care. Every day is a struggle to find the essentials needed to survive.
