BMS Mission Worker in Uganda
Benon Kayanja has worked with BMS there since 2013 and now serves as Justice Livelihoods Health (JLH) Executive Director. JLH have recently started training church leaders in the 'church and community mobilisation process' (CCMP). CCMP uses Bible studies to help churches think through mission in a more holistic way, encouraging them to reach out to their local communities to address issues and find solutions. The training also helps the churches to identify all of the resources that they have already in their community and equipping them to use what they have to overcome their challenges and is transforming lives.

Alongside this role, she supports the Social Development Services Unit, a team of social welfare workers in the Church of Christ in Thailand.
Gladys leads strategic initiatives within the Department for World Mission. Based in Kenya, she brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles at Tearfund and World Vision, where she worked extensively in programme development, humanitarian response, and global justice. Gladys is passionate about intercultural collaboration and equipping churches for transformative mission.
