This year, to coincide with our quadrennial ‘Expect’ conference, BMS World Mission will be hosting events for churches and individuals around the UK to share our heart and vision for mission. This in-person event at Perth Baptist Church will be an opportunity to hear from Philip and Rosemary Halliday (France) and Dil Karki (Nepal) alongside Kethoser Aniu Kevichusa, Director of Intercultural Learning and Collaboration at BMS, to explore what God is doing around the world, worship together and to pray for the global Church.

BMS Mission Workers in France
Originally from Scotland, Philip and Rosemary have been working in France with BMS for over 30 years, engaged in ‘hands-on’ church-planting as well as Philip heading up the French Baptists’ church-planting programme nationally. Philip and Rosemary are currently leading a church-plant on the southern edge of Greater Paris. Additionally, Philip is on the Executive of the French Baptist Federation (as Vice-President) and Rosemary is chaplain to the French language school in Massy. They are also engaged in helping the French Baptists develop ministry among refugees and asylum-seekers across France.
Head of BMS partner EQUIP
Dil lives in Kathmandu with his wife, Meena, and their daughters. He is passionate about high-quality education for children and training teachers. As Head of BMS World Mission’s Nepali partner, EQUIP, he conducts the overall planning and leadership of the EQUIP programme and manages their projects and staff. He is accountable for financial resources and assets, staff pastoral care, new project development, and policies. The work he does is crucial, as the situation of school education in Nepal is very poor.
Project Co-ordinator at KISC-EQUIP
Krishna was raised in a remote village in eastern Nepal, where his parents, who didn't have the chance for a formal education, worked as farmers. Now he lives in Lalitpur with his wife, Ramila, two children, and mother-in-law. He found the Lord aged 14, but he couldn't attend church for many years because his mother was the sole believer in their village and there wasn’t a church close-by. He currently serves as a deacon of Beth Shalom Church, the first church in Kathmandu valley. As Project Co-ordinator at KISC-EQUIP (Kathmandu International Study Centre – Educational Quality Improvement Programme), he manages an array of programmes and training.
