BMS Day of Prayer 2026
Prayer is the life force of what we do. Without prayer, what we do is meaningless. We rely on our supporters' prayers to function. Because of this, once a year we gather and set a day of prayer.
This year’s Day of Prayer theme Scripture is John 17.
From John 17 we’ll be exploring four themes from Jesus’ prayer as he prays for his Church to be united, protected, holy and sent into the world. We will look at the ways Jesus’ prayer is being answered today and reflect on how we can pray and work with Jesus and join in with his great commission to us.
You will hear about four of our mission partners and how they live these themes day-to-day and be inspired to pray.

Day of Prayer prayer sheets
Use these four prayer sheets to pray for four of our mission workers and projects around the world where God is powerfully at work. Each page is linked to the location that they are serving in. Each contain a scripture, information and prayer points. You could print them out and leave them in prayer spaces around the room.

Use this PowerPoint to guide your prayer time. The slides contain the Bible passage for this year’s Day of Prayer, the four core themes from this passage and the prayer points you’ll need for your prayer time. This PowerPoint also contains quotes from our mission workers to make the prayer requests come to life.
